We offer our students a wide range of subjects and opportunities. This empowers them to learn, develop skills, and discover their passions. We offer many opportunities for students to participate in a range of different groups, clubs, competitions and more.

Compressed Curriculum

Rouse Hill High School offers a Compressed Curriculum for Stage 6 students.

Here, students focus on completing half the number of their Stage 6 courses in the first 12-month period of senior study and the remaining courses in the second 12-month period. This is referred to as the compressed curriculum delivery model.

Principal's message

Rouse Hill High School is a proud member of our strong public education system, consisting of over 1200 secondary students learning each day, 110 staff members supporting students and growing in their expert knowledge each day, and a dedicated and invested community. We all work together to develop dynamic, accountable, resilient and engaged students who will contribute positively to society.

Our purpose is for our students to be thriving. This is supported through our consistent focus on explicit teaching, excellence in classroom practice, utilising student voice and feedback and targeted wellbeing programs. We also have a broad range of extra-curricular activities across areas including sport, creative arts, debating, mock trials, academic competitions and any other field where our students demonstrate interest and passion.
