Our extra-curricular highlights
China Club
Our China Club is a special extracurricular enrichment group at our school. Students are welcome to attend and participate one lunch time per week if they are interested in learning more about Chinese language and culture. We do a different project each term. For example, we might learn about the legend of the Lady in the Moon and how to perform a shadow puppet play around that, learn to do lion dancing for Chinese New Year, learn to play traditional Chinese instruments, or learn to carve a stone name stamp.
Morning Fitness Club
Our Morning Gym Program offers a range of benefits that positively impact students’ physical, mental and academic wellbeing. Engaging in physical activity early in the day helps students feel more energised and less fatigued throughout the school day, which supports sustained attention during lessons and makes it easier for students to engage with the content being taught.
Creative and performing arts
The extra-curricular Dance Program at Rouse Hill High School provides students with opportunities to develop their dance skills, express creativity and build confidence through performance. Students work collaboratively to refine choreography, strengthen technique, and prepare for a variety of events.
Concert Band
The Rouse Hill High School Concert Band is a vibrant ensemble that brings together dedicated musicians from across the school. Performing at major events such as Centre Stage, MADD Fest, Harmony Day, and other showcases.
