Dear Parents of Stage 6 students,
Stage 6 Preliminary End of Course Examinations will take place over five days in Week 10, beginning Monday 30th April and concluding on Friday 3rd April.
While we understand that this is a change to the usual practice of exams occurring in the final week of term, teachers have agreed that all students will be fully prepared for the exams in Week 10. The earlier exams are one way to ensure that the HSC courses will start as planned at the beginning of Term 2.
Please note that all examinations will be in the School Hall (unless otherwise stated on the timetable) and there are no timetabled lessons for Year 1.1 and 1.2 during the examination period. Students are only required to be at school to attend each of their exams or assessments. Students who miss an exam will be required to supply a Doctor’s Certificate. Students are to be at school at least 25 minutes before the start of their examination and should have their equipment ready to enter the hall 15 minutes before the exam starting time.
Attached is the examination schedule with examination rules as well as the Senior School Examination Policy. Please review these documents carefully and contact the school or HT Administration Monique Vogt for any queries or clarification.
If there are any concerns about your particular subjects, please speak with the teachers of the subject.
